Veteran Benefits

All honorably discharged Veterans are entitled to a Free cemetery space within Sunset Memorial Park (flat sections only). A spouse may purchase a space or rights to accompany the Veteran at any time.  Veterans may qualify for spaces with proof of discharge prior to need. 

Veterans who qualify may have a free Veteran marker placed as a main headstone or as a foot marker with a companion marker. Setting fees are additional. 

Honorably discharged Veterans are entitled to cemetery honors. Please inquire with the funeral home you are working with or we are happy to assist in requesting these honors.

A single Interment Flag will be issued to the surviving Next of Kin. The funeral home you are working with may assist or we are also happy to help.
